That’s why we believe that our store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of all our policies. OUR SHIPPING POLICY
Our p&p is free. We will send your item within 3 working days of your order if it is in stock. For bespoke and made to order/personalised pieces once all the designs and colours are agreed we aim to have these to you as quickly as possible but will advise you of an expected completion date dependant on the complexity of your order.

We promise that all your orders will be prettily packaged and gift boxed with the external packaging being recycled or recyclable where possible.
CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS POLICY
Everything You Need to Know
All our items are handmade or embellished with the utmost care.
In the unlikely event that your item is damaged during shipment we will provide a replacement exchange or credit note on receipt of the damaged item.
Returns are accepted providing they are received in the same condition they were sent, in the original packaging and having not been used within 14 days of receiving the item. Refunds will not be processed until the returned goods have been received.
Exclusions to our policy include earrings for pierced ears and in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, any item which has been altered, made or personalised for you.
Sale items are also non-refundable unless damaged during transit and the damaged item returned to us.
For all items, if the item has been damaged in transit you must notify us within 24 hours to tessa@tessastiaras.co.uk
It is the sender’s responsibility to always obtain a certificate of posting, this is to ensure that should the item not be received, the sender would be able to claim recompense via Royal Mail or their chosen courier.
Cancellations are accepted for ready made goods not yet dispatched, however in the event of personalised or bespoke items we reserve the right not to refund. We may offer a credit note or exchange at our discretion.
We do not refund p&p.
PACKAGING & SUSTAINABILITY
We use gift boxes made by a UK supplier from recycled card and during this coming year (2021) we will be swapping out the foam courtelles in my jewellery gift boxes for more eco-friendly cardboard courtelles.

We have switched out the use of parcel tape for a packaging tape made from brown paper. Occasionally you may receive parcels in plastic, plastic postal bags or bubble wrap. These will have been re-used from packaging we, or our friends and family have received and have stored for re-use to minimise waste.

Where possible and when financially viable, we prefer to use UK suppliers. The more local and comprehensive the better; saving on duplicate or unnecessary delivery miles and picking suppliers with the same ethics and ethos is important to us.
​
We re-use, re-purpose, re-everything as much as possible in my designs, with the exception of my bespoke work and commissions where all materials are discussed and agreed with you, the customer. This is an ongoing thing and always evolving seeking room for improvement. From re-using wire from old electrical cable to aluminium cans and vintage beads.

For a short time – due to people’s preferences, having always shied away from plastic headbands, some of my work was produced on acrylic combs. I still have some available and in stock but am moving much of my work on to wire combs.
​
The thread that I use in ‘SID’ the embroidery machine is 100% cellulose based, unlike other acrylic (plastic) based threads.
​
My wires and findings are, in the main, sourced from UK suppliers who have their own ethical and employment values.
​
Finally, and most importantly, I make accessories to last, to be kept as keepsakes, to be re-worn, re-used, and in some cases re-made into other things. Like your memories they are made to be kept and treasured.

We store only the minimum personal information about our shoppers required to fulfill their orders with us. Any such requests will be verified to be required by law.
